Came here as all my usual local establishments don’t open on a Wednesday evening at the moment. In the middle of a “refurbishment” and I say that loosely. This pub has change many times over the years but the latest idea is to turn the centre of the pub into an ice cream parlour!!! Complete with green plastic stools, White tiled floor and walls and a bank of milkshake blenders? Had to wait 20mins for my pint of master brew as the cask needed changing, good job the pub was empty. Dear Shepherd Neame, have you truly lost the plot on your choice of pub closures and refits?

Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70AcceptableFresh cask served unnecessarily through a sparkler, loads of hop aroma in the head as you’d expect with the choice of dispense, then a glimmer through the pint.

Late afternoon visit and despite this being a "Foody" pub the pub had a distinctive boozer feel to it as most were at the bar drinking but, sadly not many drink ale :(
