I took a late and leisurely lunch in this smart ‘Spoon, before braving the train back to London – into the eye of the storm.

A large, city centre, Wetherspoon house – close to Haymarket Metro Station. Opened in 2011. There are three or four distinct seating areas, split over two levels, served by a central bar with a stand up drinking area immediately in front. Pavement tables.
