17:30 A drink with Real Ale Roger. The pub was busy with drinkers and dogs. The fish & chip van was doing good trade. Very pleasant sitting by the log fire and watching the new moon over the village green.

17:30 A meet up with our chum Real Ale Roger. Pub was busy, enhanced by people having a beer whilst their fish & chips were being cooked on the weekly visit by the mobile van.

12:00 - 13:30 A sunny lunchtime and an adjacent children's playground made this an obvious choice with my granddaughter staying with us. Fairly busy my younger son and the Landlord had a discussion about GP2 racing. I am none the wiser.

17:30 Plans for a trip to the coast were thwarted by heavy rain. Sun came out, so a walk round the village green and a couple of pints in the pub. Quiet inside but busy outside.

14:10 Second stop. Saw a chap I used to talk to in the Kings Head New Buckenham who told me the pub is going to re-open in February. Good news. The pub was surprisingly busy for a Thursday lunch time.

Single bar pub overlooking the village green. Supposedly the largest village green in England. Front part has old photographs and is aimed at the village drinker. The rear has a large screen TV showing sport and also hosts live music.
