Just 2 ales on and not at their best. Expensive.

Late lunchtime visit and still quite busy with diners – no room either in the nice-looking beer garden
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wantsum - Dynamo (superseded by 4.3% version)4.60AcceptableAmber-coloured and with a soft mouthfeel. Malty and citrus fruity. But this pint not in great condition and flavours muted.

A proper, but well modernised back street local, and literally, amongst a terrace of houses. Very nice too.

There were a number of people eating and a number at the bar when we arrived. The landlord was pleasant and the food was good. It was a total contrast to the Market Inn as here the conversation around the bar was about old school ties.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brakspear (at Marston's Wychwood) - Bitter3.40GoodA soft brown bitter. Not much more to say about it than that other than it was quiet palatable.
