13:50 4th Blue Posts. If you want to experience a London pub as they were in the 1970s this is the place to come. A drinker's pub and, surprisingly, a locals' boozer in the heart of Soho. Busy with an eclectic mix of people, all men.

Very little has changed since I worked across the road in the 1970's except that the Watney's Red Barrel has gone and the corner door is no longer used.

The pub is found in Soho, Central London, W1F 0PA.

Corner pub in Berwick Street with two entrances. The present pub, with Queen Anne frontage, dates from a 1914 rebuild. Originally the Three (then Two) Blue Posts. The pub has a Westminster City Council green plaque, in honour of dance actress Jessie Matthews who took her first dance lessons above the pub. Brown tiled exterior which is also usually adorned with an impressive floral display. Watney's Ales frosted windows still on display and a Watney's lantern over the disused corner door. Tiled dado with built in bench seating.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
