Somehow or other I never got around to coming here when this was the home of Hop Back Brewery, so it is my first ever visit here. And it’s Robert’s first for more than 20 years. Instantly likeable place, shame we have an itinerary and have to move on after one.

Popped into Salisbury for the afternoon and chose this for our first refreshment stop. I really like Hop Back pubs and this was no exception, really friendly welcome and only £5.10 for two pints!!

Late lunchtime visit. Not been here for 20 years but always Hop Back brews in great nick. The small band of very helpful locals gave me multiple advice on how to walk to Laverstock. The best advice was to enjoy my pint then catch an R6 bus from just outside the pub - 5 yards walk no more. I eagerly took that advice.

Excellent pub and my favourite in Salisbury. We sat near the door as it was so busy further in and listened in on other peoples conversations.
