I alighted from a tram as Shude Hill and was heading for the Hare and Hounds but noticed that this pub had re-opend after a very long period of closure. I just had to go in and have a look, it is now a very comfortable and friendly pub with accommodation. Very different to its earlier days.

14:00 Was going to get on a tram but noticed the pub had re-opened and decided to go in. Much changed from my last visit about thirty years ago. Then it was a basic boozer, now very plush. Busy as you would expect for Central Manchester. Got into conversation about the merits of various Edinburgh pubs with some Scotsmen.
