Here just before noon after a walk to Dunstanburgh Castle from where we spotted dolphins. Already quite busy - we sat outside with a lovely view over the small harbour with the castle in the distance and had moules. Idyllic.

Camerons - Sanctuary 3.80ExcellentA very nice pale ale.
Mordue - Workie Ticket4.50AcceptableA little chalk sign on the counter that this was also available. I thought it might have been straight form the barrel but it turned out to be keg. Shame, rather ordinary.

Retrospective entry from my journal - holidaying in Low Newton: First long walk - South to Dunstanburgh Castle - about 2 miles. The ruins of this huge fortress dominate the horizon from Newton - English Heritage, so free for us. Continued coastal to Craster ('a' as in lass) - about 1.5 miles. famous for kippers, quaint cul- de- sac tiny harbour. Jolly Fisherman for lunch.

Mordue - Workie Ticket4.50ExcellentGreat flavour, worthy of champion status.
Black Sheep - Golden Sheep3.90Acceptableok but lacked flavour
