Saturday afternoon - only a few drinkers in but a DJ playing some interesting rock and blues tracks quite loudly. Enjoyed the music and the decor and a pleasant enough ambience - but not worth seeking out for the beer unfortunately.

Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30AcceptableNot the best TT Landlord I have come across by a long way.
Purity - Mad Goose4.20Undrinkablesaw this on the board as the guest ale while I supped my Landlord - (hand pump was in the other bar) - I looked forward to a changed from the TT only to be presented with a cloudy and whiffy pint. To be fair it was changed readily with good heart and apologies,.

The pub is found in Islington, Central London, N1 8NQ.

Two room "back street" boozer in Queens Head Street - unusual in Islington. Was claimed to be a "hidden gem" by The Londonist in 2014. Interesting eclectic decor, no TV, pool room and interesting rock music by guest DJs. Renamed Bill Murray after operation taken over by Angel Comedy Club in November 2016.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
