13:30 Looking for a pub to take my family for lunch on our way to Southport. This read very well on the CAMRA GBG on my mobile 'phone. Sadly the data is not updated. Taken over by Lees and no local micros any more. Food was good but rather sparing.

The pub is found in Haskayne, Lancashire, L39 7JP.

In Rosemary Lane, it claims to be the first canal-side pub in the country. Taken over by Lees in 2013 and fully renovated. Now very much a dining pub. The garden by the tow path is very pleasant.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
