Fairly busy with lunchtime drinkers. The interior is very pleasing on the eye and it's home to the Kentwood Brewery. We popped in here before the Preston Athletic Scottish Cup game against Montrose.

18:00 Satisfied a long held ambition to come here. Worth the journey. Made very welcome, barmaid gave a us a guided tour of the pub. Sadly there was no real ale available so we made do with bottle conditioned.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Preston Grange - Gothenburg Porter4.40ExcellentA true porter. Dark, hoppy, and with a sour back taste.

The pub is found in Prestonpans, East Lothian, EH32 9BE.

Superb pub in High Street dating from 1908, closed in 2001 and re-opened in 2003 after restoration. Run along Gothenburg lines, a percentage of the profits go to the local community. The main bar is magnificent with a central servery and wooden alcoves around the outer wall. One alcove contains some memorabilia associated with the former Fowlers brewery. There is a separate dining room and a further room upstairs. There is also a micro-brewery at the rear of the pub. Currently closed with rumours of a February 2023 re-opening.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 6 different beers and tried 5 of them.
