I had forgotten what a cute little pub this is. Unlike the Swan a few doors away with its tourist trade, the clientele here seemed to be mainly locals by mid-evening.

A cosy little street corner pub in Queen Square, which has been here in one form or another since at least 1710. There is a small, wood panelled bar area and a second space up on the first floor. Candle-lit ambience in the evenings. Sold by Greene King in 2019 to Cosmic Securities Ltd.
