Evening visit until midnight close. First day of latest JDW beer festival - looks like a slow start to providing a wider range.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Evening visit until midnight close. Generally acknowledged as the best 'Spoon's in sarf London. A regular and indeed current GBG entry.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Cairngorm - Wildcat5.10ExcellentSmooth and naturally malt dominated. A mad snip at £1.99pp
Truman's - Two Halves4.20GoodWhy do they call this an IPA at 4.2% and with lemon juice overtones. Not the stuff that would have gone to India. I also wish Trumans would brew beer styles true to its roots, rather than its one-dimensional use of newer hop types. This one in good condition but a total chore to drink

BeerABVScoreNotes
Beartown - Bruins Ruin5.00ExcellentFresh pint was excellent with lingering bitterness
Beartown - Bruins Ruin5.00UndrinkableI was suspicious of the quick fill and shuffling. I had a wander and could see several Icebergs sitting below counter too. I challenged if this was a top up of some stale beer below deck and this was acknowledged. Replaced
