This pub has been here since at least the 1830s and was rebuilt in its present form in 1974. It stands at the foot of a residential development, set well back from Blackfriars Road behind an extensive outdoor seating area. Closed 24th November 2023 for demolition of site and a redevelopment, into which a new pub is promised.
