Late afternoon visit after a visit to Harveys Brewery Shop on a mission. Busy enough to wonder if there had been a local event earlier. A fine array of former Archers brewery clips adorn the above bar counter glasses shelf reminding of the wide range of names it used on what were very mediocre beers indeed. CAMRA price discount was not proffered.

The pub is found in Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 2AN.

Lovely small pub just down from the Harveys brewery in Cliffe High Street. The bar to one side is halfway down which creates a front and rear room. Freehouse, independent and superb. Lots of community atmosphere with different events/pub and local teams being advertised. 6 handpumps in front bar and 1 at the rear - the latter used for cider. CAMRA discount for card carrying members.

We have visited this pub 20 times, seen 83 different beers and tried 23 of them.
