The pub is found in Barlow, Derbyshire, S18 7SJ.
A smallish, cottage-style, village pub situated in lovely, hilly countryside in the hamlet of Commonside, to the north-west of Chesterfield. Despite being quite small, it manages to have four distinct rooms/drinking areas around the central bar counter. Nothing fancy, just good Derbyshire hospitality. At the time of writing (October 2014), this pub has been in the same ownership for 31 years and acts as an unofficial ‘tap’ for Barlow Brewery.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
