How disappointing after the Red Lion. Claims to be a Freehouse but with the beer choice (sic) the same as MG noted 3 years ago, and ChrisE 3 years before that, it clearly isn't focused on innovative real ale sales. I’d only cycled a few miles from Snargate but felt like I’d ended up in Essex.

Mid afternoon a few other drinkers in glued to exciting daytime TV. On my 'to do' list in case it becomes a Tesco Express or adorned by the Golden Arches.

I had not been here for many years when it was a Courage pub, so I decided to hop on the bus and try a pint. The interior of the pub is very much as I remembered it with plenty of wood panelling and brick fire places.

Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%)3.40GoodIt was a difficult decision to decide which of the two beers to try, and in the end I opted to try this one as I have not tried it for a long time. Very much as I remember it.
