11:45 Second stop. One other drinker when we went with the seemingly obligatory laptop. We decided that the fittings are not as old as they appear at first glance. I felt that there were too many cask beers on for a pub this small. It was notable that two other chaps who came in after us both went for lager.

Early evening visit. This is only a little pub and it was pretty crowded. Not cheap. Greene King house beer also sold.

The pub is found in Westminster, Central London, SW1Y 6QY.

An attractive pub, the frontage has elaborate bow windows with leaded-glass supported by marble pillars. Established in 1731, the present premises being an 1899 rebuild. There is a small bar area with a heavy wood bar back and wood and tile gantry. A second bar area at first floor level serves as a restaurant at lunchtime, and there are some pavement tables in the alleyway alongside. Was a Nicholson's pub for a while before passing to Greene King.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 7 different beers and tried 2 of them.
