Second two Maida Vale heritage pubs. Another stunner architecturally with many unusual features. The tiled, columned archway entrance and the art deco mural above the main bar servery area were particularly memorable. Unfortunately beer choice not good as the pub is being shut at weekend for a few months for maintenances/refurb. Hopefully the many unique features will be retained.

The pub is found in Maida Vale, Greater London, W9 1EH.

A very impressive building built in 1857, the main bar is on the right as you enter and contains marble pillars, some Art Nouveau style paintings of naked ladies. There is another bar on the left hand side which would appear to have originally been three separate rooms. Accommodation is available.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
