16th-century pub with 18th century frontage and with a lot of 1930s fittings. The bar on the right has 1930s square panelled walls to picture frame height all around, a square panelled counter and a 1930s brick fireplace. There is a narrow island mirrored bar back serving both front bars. The left bar has square panelled walls all around, 1930s brick fireplace, square panelled bar counter. It has been opened-up to the third room on the left with panelled walls. A fourth room on the left has been brought into use and has a 1930s brick fireplace. New restaurant added at rear.
