Busy and noisy at around 8pm on a Tuesday evening. Less of a ‘City’ crowd than most pubs in the area.

The pub is found in City, Central London, EC2A 2ER.

Long-established pub that has been here since at least 1800 and was rebuilt in 1815 and again in 1865. A Grade 2-listed, street corner house, with single bars at ground and first floor levels. Bashed around inside, although there is a nice 1950s fireplace on the north wall. Historically this was a Barclay Perkins house, later becoming a Courage pub.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
