Came with Gareth and a mate of his for a few pints. Sat inside next to a table of blokes who were thoroughly enjoying eating plates of meat. The staff were friendly and efficient.

13:30 visit. Busy with diners inside and drinkers outside enjoying the sun and great sea view. Uninspiring ale choice but the Guinness was good..

Now reopened under new ownership. Looks like Herne Bay could have its own quality pub at long last.

Not a great pub, but it was ok. Martin knew the guy from behind the bar from a band he saw at the Merton Farm music festival.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70AcceptableBit dull with artificial sweet malts.

Here with Ian, Martin and Jane. Not very busy but it was late Saturday afternoon and it was fairly sunny out.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Friendly pub with limited but excellent menu. I had fillet of Sea Bream and it was very good. The locals were funny with 2 women sitting at the bar joking about how many husbands they'd had.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70GoodInteresting pint. Orange and mellon flavours dominated with a very strong bitter finish.
