Plenty of room and space available both inside and out at this spacious and well planned brewery tap. Efficient and friendly service made for a relaxed and pleasant stay.

I came here at lunchtime on a lovely spring day and found the place quite busy. Liquid lunch for me, in the bar area. Always nice to visit a brewery tap.

The pub is found in Newburn, Tyne and Wear, NE15 8NL.

This extensive pub in Grange Road is attached to the Big Lamp Brewery, the whole large complex housed in a former pumping house which stands next to the entrance to the River Tyne Country Park. There are separate bar and dining areas and a big outdoor seating area. Accommodation is available at the Keelman’s Lodge.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
