Early afternoon a few folk finishing off their lunches in this sympathetically refurbished pub, we decided to opt for the beer garden on a sunny mild day.

The pub is found in Little Bowden, Leicestershire, LE16 8AE.

Situated in the suburb of Little Bowden, but the nearest pub to Market Harborough station. A thatched and beamed building with three distinct drinking areas around a central bar, the largest room contains a hood skittles table. There are two separate dining rooms, one of which still bears the sign that says it was the former non-smoking room. Unusually the pub has two gardens, one is for families across a lane in front of the pub, the other is for adults only. The second garden has a hatch servery inside the pub at the rear of the main bar.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 10 different beers and tried 2 of them.
