13:15 Last stop before once again aiming to get the 13:45 to travel over the new Reading Festival Line. Fairly busy. One old chap in the drinking area opposite the bar. Same bloke, same seat as last time I visited.

12:45 Had an hour at Oxford waiting for a specific train to travel over part of the new track layout at Reading so came here. Busy in the dining rooms but just two in the bar area. Friendly place. Cask beers would appear to be mainly local looking at the pump clips on display.

Yubberton - YPA4.00Good£4 a pint. London prices.
Vale - Brill Gold (was 3.5%)3.40AcceptableVery hazy. I was asked if I wanted to change but it tasted OK so I drank it.

The pub is found in Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 1HU.

Interesting place located down a side street diagonally opposite Oxford railway station. Conversion of buildings that were once part of the Frank Cooper Marmalade factory, hence the name. The place functions as a cafe, restaurant, bar and arts centre. There are three distinct rooms plus a covered patio. The two main rooms are for dining and have works of art on the walls. There is a seating area directly in front of the bar with four small tables. The bar has two handpumps and 12 fancy fizz taps. The Gents toilet walls are papered with pages from the Beano.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
