Evening. Return visit before the train away. Disappointed to see that no beers which had run out earlier had been replenished then I suffered an awful Sarson's snorter of a pint.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Slater's - Golden3.80UndrinkableStrong acetic smell and taste. Spoke to the fellow changing the beer blackboard entries and he simply opined that it was near the end and that he wished he could throw away the last 5 pints of every cask. One would expect a Good Beer Guide pub to jump to attention, change it and take it off sale but he did none of these. A barmaid drowned the pint in lemonade for me but that could not cover up the whiff either. Bad experience

Evening. Good to see wide range of real and cider on my first stop. All beers seemed to be frothing up and / or having some problem or other as I was to find out for myself. No CAMRA discount, as on a Tuesday all real ales are discounted to £1.95 pp.
BeerABVScoreNotes
