Sunday lunchtime. An unmodernised roadside pub with a recent patio area to the rear. I sat here in the unexpected warm September sunshine.

Recommended for a good value lunch by staff at Sedbergh's massive bookstore. Food was plain but fresh. A few other diners in.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ringwood - Boondoggle4.20ExcellentI have been trying northern beers mostly this week - but have to say they aren't generally the most flavoursome (well the North did give us John Smiths and Tetley bitters ...) Really enjoyed the flavour and body of this soft southern ale.
Jennings (since closure now brewed at Marston's) - Cumberland Ale4.00GoodRather plain bitter in good condition.
