I’m the first customer through the door at noon following a long circuit of Highgate and Hampstead on foot. I don’t have the place to myself for long though.

My first time here – excellent place. They have an especially good cask beer selection for the duration of the London Beer City week and it looks as if it is proving popular.

Evening latish. Knew I'd find a nightcap beer here. Annoying to have brazen e-ciggers puffing at the bar.
