Our regular lunch stop now if we are on the way to East Anglia. Very busy, but excellent service as usual. 3 interesting local ales on.

Early lunch on our way east. Very good food and service and an interesting selection of beers. Only a very small area for non-diners - but this is a good pit-stop close to the A12.

Impromptu stop early evening on the way East due to heavy traffic on the A12. Dozens of cars but the place was less than half full - very efficient food service and a reasonable choice. Good service. Very much a food pub but patio areas outside and a small drinking area inside with comfy leather armchairs - not being used.
