Evening. Lots to look at and to guess whether old or of more recent heritage. Gilded signage above the bar back proclaims "Chop House - Craft Beers" so presume Craft Beers have been around since Victorian times. I wonder if the term meant as little then as it does now.

The pub is found in Whitehall, Central London, SW1A 2BX.
At the Trafalgar Square end of Whitehall this deep narrow pub has an intriguing mix of old and new architecture and an attractive tile-fronted bar counter with 6 handpumps. A gilded cupola with stained glass panels lights the central bar area. Young's acquired this house from Redcomb Pubs in January 2019. Very expensive but it is in Whitehall!
We have visited this pub twice, seen 11 different beers and tried 2 of them.
