Only time for a short, lunchtime visit. Nice place and I would like to have been able to stay longer.

Wooha - Porter5.00ExcellentHaving just read in the local CAMRA mag that this beer was only available in bottles, it was nice to find a cask version here. Black. A very rich-tasting, smooth Porter. Lots of coffee and chocolate flavours.

The Victorian-era Braeval Hotel looks across a small piece of parkland to the sea. A restaurant occupies the front of the building, whilst at the rear is the Bandstand Bar. This has a large outdoor seating area and a cosy interior. The pub is a supporter of local breweries and hosts a popular annual beer festival. Highlands & Islands CAMRA Pub of the Year 2014.
