13:45 Once again a warm welcome and a local explained some of the history of the pub. We sat in one of the bar-less rooms. Tremendous pub.

The pub is found in Elsecar, South Yorkshire, S74 8EP.

The fourth pub down the hill and adjacent to the Heritage Centre. Very interesting interior. A standard North Western style pub in Yorkshire. Two rooms to the right of the entrance both served from the bar. Corridor drinking with hatch service. Two further rooms to the left of the entrance. Former arch leading to the rear of the pub has been filled and a further room built behind it to house a pool table.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
