5pm and busy but thankfully a lot of people were outside and there was plenty of room to sit down and admire the building. I used both bars and got immediate service every time.

I just popped in really to see which festival beers were on, but a friend was at the bar and I stayed for a couple of halves. Pub pleasingly quiet at around 9pm on a Monday. I did not note all the beers.

Busy in the early evening rush hour peak. I popped in to have a look at the Wetherspoon Festival list. The pub is still in the midst of the renovation that I noted here in March.

Split level Wetherspoon's built into Liverpool Street mainline railway station with a pasty bar out the front. High ornate ceiling. Gilt and plasterwork is stunning. Beer line up is normally average, but interior is regal. Expansive ground floor and smaller balcony bar. 10 handpumps downstairs and 5 upstairs.
