5pm and busy but thankfully a lot of people were outside and there was plenty of room to sit down and admire the building. I used both bars and got immediate service every time.

Rush hour busy, but service speedy. The first few Wetherspoon Beer Festival beers have appeared.

The renovations here seem to have become a permanent feature, the left side of the main room still shrouded.

I just popped in really to see which festival beers were on, but a friend was at the bar and I stayed for a couple of halves. Pub pleasingly quiet at around 9pm on a Monday. I did not note all the beers.

Busy in the early evening rush hour peak. I popped in to have a look at the Wetherspoon Festival list. The pub is still in the midst of the renovation that I noted here in March.

In here on the way home from a business trip to Hertfordshire and intending to have a go at the current Wetherspoon festival list. Sticking with the halves.
Daleside - Thai.P.A.4.00ExcellentPale gold and fragrant. Almost overpowering initial lemongrass flavours. But very nice once youíve adjusted to it.
Butcombe - Union4.80GoodA golden beer with plenty of NZ hop flavour. A touch of sweetness.

It appeared to be the calm after the storm in here, with much clearing-up going on at 7:45, large football crowds having departed to tonightís match at the Olympic Stadium. The pub is in the midst of an internal refurbishment.

Split level Wetherspoon's built into Liverpool Street mainline railway station with a pasty bar out the front. High ornate ceiling. Gilt and plasterwork is stunning. Beer line up is normally average, but interior is regal. Expansive ground floor and smaller balcony bar. 10 handpumps downstairs and 5 upstairs.
