16:30 Our journey home took us through the fens as the A1 was stuffed and this was the first open place we came to when my wife decided she needed a break. Pleasant enough pub. The beer choice is not to my mind good enough to merit the current GBG entry.

The pub is found in Sutterton, Lincolnshire, PE20 2EZ.

A private house until 1985 this is a most intriguing pub in Pools Lane. The interior has two rooms, one bar one dining, and boasts a wealth of exposed beams. Behind the pub there is a butcher's shop. The garden leads to a newly planted country park with over 2000 native British trees. Part of this park has now been dedicated as a woodland burial ground which must be a unique pub feature.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
