Only just remembered my visit here. Once again under new management. They now sell Greene King IPA in a choice of extra cold or smoothflow, smashing. It was very busy in here, but not sure if that's a product of the new people or the fact it was Christmas eve.

It's been ages since I've been here, it was really hot at work so I decided I needed a pint to cool down. Under new management now but not much has changed. Sat in the beer garden and relaxed for half an hour, then off back to work.

Popped in on my lunch break. Only three other people in, they'd had a power cut so everything was broken. Recently been taken over and the only friendly bar-maid left has handed in her notice, shame.

| Cains - Dragon Heart | 5.00 | | Deep chestnut/ruby colour. Thin tight tan head. Treacle nose with good hop earthy. Full in mouth and quite smooth with tangy citrus finish. Malts fade quite quickly dark fruits on nose, blackberries. Quite nice |
