The pub is found in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, WR15 8EG.
Parts of the pub date to the 16th C building, and it was a brew pub until 1926. There are two rooms to the front of the pub, one with a log fire, a thin corridor room to the rear and a back room with a bar billiard table. The central bar has a disused hatch formerly used for service to the rear corridor. The door to the servery faces the entrance and still contains the off-sales hatch. Noted music venue. The two front windows each have three rows of panes with the bottom row being stained glass. The windows are concave and resemble those at the rear of a galleon. Someone else has seen the similarity as a stuffed parrot sits in the light fitting over each window.
