We arrived earlier than planned owing to the previous pub on our itinerary not being opened. This was early afternoon so we had a couple in here as we were ahead of schedule and the next pub on the list does not open until 3pm. They seemed a bit surprised to find fifteen of us walking in at the same time but were very welcoming and coped well.

15:20 What Pub said there may be real ale and a blackboard outside offered White Witch so in we went. Landlord obviously keen on cask beer and given the fact that he is surrounded by three other pubs noted for cask beer he should succeed in running a third handpump as he intends.

Moorhouse's - White Witch3.90ExcellentQuality of the pint reflected the standards of the Landlord.
