Another new pub for me. Most people were sitting in the courtyard at the rear whilst I stayed inside and listened to Doris Day singing Que Sera Sera. I had a good chat with the enthusiastic young lady behind the bar who told me that she is a member of the Brewery History Society. I was very lucky as I had not checked the opening hours prior to my visit and this was the very first day of opening on Tuesdays.

Evening. Last port of call before a train home. The sort of place where inevitably conversations break out almost immediately. I felt the experience would have been enhanced by having more cask ale savvy bar staff.
