13:00 A short walk across the road from the Lamb. Not as busy as I expected. The seven of us bagged, and all got in one of the two booths either side of the entrance. Given the size of us this was no mean feat. Sadly my Hop Circle app decided to fail and I missed out on the discount.

Filling up fast with diners on a Thursday lunchtime.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Oxfordshire Ales - Meads Must4.70AcceptableAmber strong bitter with no dominant flavours, a dry maltiness with some hop bitterness present. Finish is dry. Served too cold therefore my score 14/20 with B for quality.
16 Dec 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
Busy with end of college term diners.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Moor - Gold, Frankincense & Moor4.80AcceptableRather dry and bitter with an astringent finish. My score 13/20.
11 Jun 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
Failry quiet with a few locals in late Saturday morning.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Camden Town - Inner City Green3.90ExcellentPale and very hoppy with citrus notes and a dryish finish. Some maltiness also evident. My score 16/20.

I was the first punter in at 12.30 on New Year's Day in a very quiet "ghost town" Oxford. Must have been a long night of celebrations.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Saltaire - Triple Choc (was Triple Chocoholic)4.80ExceptionalNot quite as chocolatey as previously, allowing the bitter roast malt flavours to come through more. Still an excellent chocolate stout but loses a point so this sample now 19/20.

It was quite busy, so we ended standing up along the corridor linking the front and rear of the pub. Cosy if you could get a seat.

Adnams - Broadside4.70AcceptableNot at its best.
