Robert and I moved on here and were the first customers of the evening. The bar soon filled up with an arty crowd attending a book signing elsewhere in the building. We were treated to a free bowl of freshly cooked vegetable crisps. Beer on great form, but now £4:50 a pint.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Three Sods - SeSsiON IPA4.40ExcellentGolden and tasty. Juicily hoppy.
Three Sods - Mon Chéri IPA4.50ExcellentWell-balanced, golden and slightly drier than the Session IPA.

I was pleased to hear that this cosy little bar was opening again after a period of closure (it opens Wednesdays to Saturdays, evenings only). Surprised however to find myself the only customer for an hour between 7 and 8pm. No doubt word will get around and trade will pick up.
BeerABVScoreNotes

I missed the launch of the Three Sods Brewery tap last night, but I enjoy an evening visit tonight. Only a scattering of customers, it is a good chance to chat with the staff. Cheap beer, nice surroundings.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Three Sods - SeSsiON IPA4.40GoodPale gold in colour and hoppy.

The pub is found in Bethnal Green, Greater London, E2 6NB.

A large and imposing building just off Bethnal Green Road houses the Working Men’s Club. It has a reputation as an events space, with music and exhibitions. The basement level is home to the Three Sods Brewery, and since April 2016 there is a sub-ground floor brewery taproom, known as the Workers Arms. This is either an unmodernised time-warp bar full of vintage 60s and 70s furnishings, or a lovely display of somebody’s collection of old clocks and furniture – not sure which. Opening hours will vary as the place settles down. No membership required to visit. By early 2019 this bar, always erratic with its opening, had ceased to open at all.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 4 different beers and tried them all.
