Crowded when I arrive, but within ten minutes I am the only customer. I apologise to barman Steve for having had such a negative impact, but he explains I had just missed the end of the afternoon’s live music and people were keen to move on to the beer festival near-by. Luckily there is soon another wave of new arrivals.
