8 PM - busy exclusively with eaters. The smell of meaty cooking hung heavily in the air. This visit is my 2014 quest complete with a day to spare - I believe I have now recorded all Canterbury pubs since joining the site. (Let me know if you think not). Next year Dover or do I need to get out more?

Popped in for the first time today for lunch with the memsahib. Rather quiet but the food and service were good. The fact that they take the Tastercard made it good value for money and well worth the visit.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Amber Ale4.50GoodA decent lunchtime pint, a good few notches up from Masterbrew but not one I'd feel the need to drink again.

Nice pub. Very much like the Miller's Arms in Canterbury (another Shepherd Neame pub).
