We were passing here so we popped in for a pint, the front of the pub was fairly full and the rear reserved from about half an hour's time so we sat in there ready to move when the party turned up for their seats, however nobody came and the area was still empty when we left long after the reserved from time.

16:00 visit. Our chauffeur had a day off work, and I'd finished at 2pm, so she picked me and a pal up and we headed to sunny Whitstable again to tackle some pubs missed the week before. This pub/restaurant was very smart. Very quiet at this time as expected, but the ale range was top class, with an impressive line up of bottles noted too from the likes of Gadd's and Meantime. I remember coming here a couple of years back. Today, we sat inside with the sun beaming through the windows. Classy place and quality food menu noted. (Read, you need deep pockets in this place, £3.80p a pint, £4.00+ bottles and my first ever £4.00 Guinness!).
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hop Back - Summer Lightning5.00ExceptionalIn 5* condition today.
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentAgain, we all thought this was in top condition.
Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA)4.10ExcellentWe all tried this and thought it was in A1 condition.
Sharp's - Doom Bar4.00GoodOk, but slowly but surely has turned into a national bland.
