Back here on my bike (I got the train to Penrith!) 4pm on a Friday and the place is buzzing). Cyclists, walkers, families and loads of tweed (I assume that there may have been a shoot earlier). My fourth visit over the years - love it.

Stopped en route to Scotland for a late lunch - 5 miles off the M6. Friendly welcome reasonable food. I stayed near here a few years ago on a coast to coast cycle ride - as good as I remembered.
