The pub is found in Plumstead, Greater London, SE18 3SZ.

Street corner house in Herbert Road, adjacent to the Barnfield Gardens estate. Sidney Herbert the 1st Baron of Lea, gave his name to the local area and the then new military hospital, now luxury apartments on Shooters Hill. Closed in 2020 after retirement of the long term licensee John Hanley. Re-opened December 2020 with new crew in charge.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
