A sign outside informed us that the pub was featuring Cornish Ales this month so I was expecting the usual brew, but found two beers on from St. Austell and learned that Skinners Betty Stogs will be available soon. A good chat with the landlord and a customer who was carrying a set of golf clubs.

In Sandy Hill Road, a single roomed house which is one of the few pubs left in this part of town these days. An early real ale outlet for micro-breweries in the 70s and 80s. Closed late 2022 with lease on the market.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
