Visits Details

11 Oct 2016 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening until 11pm close. My first visit ever. Clearly playing on the imminent expected gentrification of the area. Nice touches like local south London cask ales and printed menus changing for each session and showing the date. Scotch eggs at £5 and sausage rolls at £4.50 must surely be garnished with gold.

The pub is found in Deptford, Greater London, SE8 4EJ.

Bordering the St Johns area, formerly The Cranbrook, this pub re-opened with a new name in August 2016. A large corner house with contemporary decor and a somewhat rural furnishings feel. Open view kitchen, bare-boarded throughout, large uncurtained windows and 5 handpumps majoring on local south London breweries.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
