Early evening. Had this on my wish list for 6 years since Chris E’s entry. Passing through Sandwich and found it open at last. Wonderfully eclectic interior - akin to a bric a brac shop. Punters outside enjoying the sunshine. No evidence of food that I could see. Just the one beer, but glad I stopped for the decor.

Lunchtime, quiet and relaxing with blues music being played. Very welcoming and some wonderful smells coming from the kitchen, we only wanted a simple sandwich so we ate elsewhere.

The pub is found in Sandwich, Kent, CT13 9AF.

In Cattle Market opposite the Guildhall and formerly a restaurant and tea room, in late 2016 new owners launched real ale and cider sales into a pub style environment but still with home cooked food available. Real ale is sold through 2 handpumps.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
