Late evening friendly welcome from the long standing guv as seen in the photo. Fairly quiet I enjoyed my beer in the empty basic 'vault' whereas a few groups were gathered in the cosy rear bar. Hard to believe it was over 7 years ago when I last visited with ChrisE, also in the photo.

I had not been here for years, it is a good traditional multi-roomed boozer that you have to seek out to find. The landlord was very chatty and informed us that he had been there for over twenty five years.

Lunchtime we we're the first customers. Multi roomed traditional local, comfortable and spotless. I was very impressed.
